On Saturday, November 12th Gregry Simmons, 48, and Amoni Shevelle Lathrop, 27, both of Farmington came to the Ontario County Humane Society with a 10-year-old French bulldog they claimed to have found as a stray in the area.A short time later a search of Simmons’ social media accounts showed that the dog had been posted there several times.They didn’t seek medical care for the dog and instead, brought him to the shelter because they didn’t want to pay for the veterinarian bills.Humane Society officials stated that Fletcher passed away while having a seizure after being in their care for two days.FingerLakes1.com is the region’s leading all-digital news publication."
